Harlingen EDC’s COVID-19 Business Resource Page Now Live

HARLINGEN, TEXAS (MARCH 30, 2020) – In an effort to continue helping Harlingen businesses connect to valuable resources, the Harlingen EDC recently published its Harlingen Guides resource page.

The resource guide includes everything from local, county, state, to national COVID-19 resources that are currently available.

The guide also includes an overview of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that was recently signed.

“We are being proactive and helping keep our business community informed,” Raudel Garza, HEDC CEO, said.

He added that the HEDC staff is also working on reaching out personally to those business owners who have filled out the Economic Impact Survey and provide additional guidance in this critical time for their business. Garza stressed the importance of the survey and hoped more people would take the time to fill it out.

The Harlingen EDC business resource page will be updated frequently as new information and resources become available. If business owners have additional questions and concerns, the HEDC staff is working Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. is available via phone at 956-216-5081.
