Workforce Wednesday Job Fair Returns Dec. 8 with New Location and Times

HARLINGEN, TEXAS (Nov. 17, 2021) – The City of Harlingen and Harlingen EDC, in partnership with Workforce Solutions Cameron, will be hosting the next Workforce Wednesday event on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Casa de Amistad, 1204 Fair Park Blvd., Harlingen, 78550.

This is the third event in the series of job fairs that launched in August and will host dozens of employers seeking to fill part-time and full-time positions. 

Workforce Solutions Cameron and the Harlingen EDC are currently recruiting employers to participate in the Wednesday, Dec. 8 event. The event is free to participate in and open to the public. “We had an excellent turnout at the October event, and with the support of the City of Harlingen we hope to have an even greater turnout,” Raudel Garza, Harlingen EDC CEO, said. 

“With up to 25 employers representing various industries, this will be the perfect opportunity for job seekers to make their next big career move,” Garza added.

The job fairs continue to be an effort to help bring together job seekers and employers. Employers currently registered for the Dec. 8th event include Harlingen CISD, Harlingen Waterworks System, Harlingen Medical Center, and Tropical Texas Behavioral Health, among others.
