Harlingen EDC sponsors Kauffman FastTrac business course, encourages entrepreneurs to apply
HARLINGEN, TEXAS (January 4, 2024) — Continuing their steadfast support for local entrepreneurship, the Harlingen Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is proud to partner with the UTRGV Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Center to bring the Kauffman FastTrac business course back to Harlingen for another round.
This seven-week, in-person training is valued at $700 and will be made free to 10 applicants through sponsorship by the Harlingen EDC. The sessions are designed to help entrepreneurs identify market needs, understand business basics and explore risk and success factors. Throughout the course, participants will have the opportunity to connect with experienced businesspeople, create strong business plans, and locate the financial and human resources needed to succeed.
Those who are accepted into the program will meet weekly on Tuesdays beginning January 23, 2024 through March 5, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The course will take place at the Harlingen EDC office, located at 2424 Boxwood Street, Suite 125 in Harlingen, Texas.
