Harlingen EDC to host second one-stop business startup fair
HARLINGEN, TEXAS (October 28, 2024) — Following the success of the initial event, the Harlingen Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is excited to announce the return of Let’s Get Down to Business, a unique informational fair aimed at providing all the information needed to launch a business enterprise in the City of Harlingen.
This free come-and-go event will bring together representatives from key city departments and business resource organizations in one convenient location. Attendees will have the opportunity to access essential guidance on licensing, permitting, financing, and more—all in one place.
"At our inaugural event, we witnessed the power of uniting experts from every essential field under one roof,” says Orlando Campos, CEO of the Harlingen EDC. "Let's Get Down to Business serves as a fantastic tool to help Harlingen entrepreneurs launch and grow with confidence and support. The event will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux & Bar patio located at 97 Bass Pro Drive in Harlingen. While admission is free, attendees are encouraged to register at https://forms.gle/2AXZbmRf9qsLo9d39.
Upon arrival, participants will have the opportunity to explore each representative’s, collecting valuable insights and asking any follow-up questions.
