Harlingen EDC partners with UTRGV Small Business Development Center to provide support to the community

HARLINGEN, TEXAS (JUNE 14, 2023) - The Harlingen Economic Development Corporation (Harlingen EDC) has partnered with the UTRGV Small Business Development Center (UTRGV SBDC) to provide no cost advisement services to the business community of the City of Harlingen and its surrounding area.

Entrepreneurs and business owners seeking guidance can now set up an appointment to meet with UTRGV’s Senior Business & HR Advisor, Cristina Cantu, at the Harlingen EDC Office. Advisement sessions are kept strictly confidential and come at no cost to the client.

"With so much information available for businesses, it’s helpful to have a professional that can guide you through the startup or growth process of a business,” said UTRGV SBDC’s Cristina Cantu.

“As a business advisor, I meet with clients one-to-one to evaluate their specific business needs, guiding them with the information, resources, and planning needed to launch or expand their businesses.”

UTRGV SBDC offers the following services:
